The Copper Country Falls Tour is an adventure to see some waterfalls just outside of city limits of Houghton and Hancock that aren't on maps and usually have decent flow through the entire year. When water isn't extremely high which is most of the year we are able hike right up the creeks and rivers into the gorges and climb over boulders and have lots of fun. BONUS: During berry season mid July to early August we sometimes pick berries along the way.
Times of departure: Daily: 10am or 4pm (hours may change as daylight changes) - this tour runs from spring snow melt to late fall

Hi, I am Yooper Steve, I know how to get around the entire Upper Peninsula of Michigan better than anyone. I grew up in Marquette and moved to the Copper Country during high school. Since childhood I have explored the forests and waters of the Upper Peninsula. I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, teaching survival skills, cross county skiing, snowshoeing, and off road adventuring. My Top 3 areas to explore and relax are the Keweenaw peninsula, Porcupine Mtns, and the Huron Mountains. I like many other places in the U.P. but these areas have many adventures with less crowds for extreme solitude.
